Message trying to get almost brand-new prices out of several year old parts it makes me twitch.

Things like: "I bought these * IC's for $800 <15k miles ago(6 yrs), asking $700 shipped"

Seriously? The ICs with dozens of bent fins/rock dents, no matching ducts, that likely are filthy inside are worth almost exactly what you paid for them?

Or the Cone filters that were obviuosly hanging too low and have been mercilessly beaten by rocks are almost the exact same price as new?

How about the suspension components that have 10k+ miles on them that have been tracked/dragged, "$1k new! just $800 shipped!".

It's a little ridiculous. These are components that are still able to be bought BRAND NEW from a manufacturer WITH a warranty, and you want top-dollar?

As someone who *owns a Z, and *just dropped money on it like it was a boat, I understand the urge.
In all honesty, the car is not a *monetary investment, it's an emotional investment.
We put money into these cars because it's what we *want*, and they do what makes us feel good.

You have to be ok with that to put money into your Z.
(It's only a monetary investment if you buy it DIRT cheap, get SUPER cheap replacement parts and upsell the hell out of it)
